Talk to your doc: You may want to talk to your doctor about this. Now, that you have only one remaining kidney- I should say that there are a lot of other blood pressure medication that you can take besides diovan (valsartan). However, ultimately decision is between you and your doctor. You doctor has to choose the one that is going to be the best for your condition.
