Up to 9 weeks: There are a few different regimens for using abortion pills, Mifepristone and misoprostil, and the latest recommendations include a regimen that is safe and acceptable up to 63 days from beginning of lmp. Using this medicine requires close medical supervision. Note that this is different from plan b, which is used to prevent pregnancy. This must be used within 72 hours of unprotected sex.
