Turn them around or: Well, if the pictures appears as though they are watching you, turn them around or cover them up. If that is not enough, move them out of the room. Also, you can do it in complete darkness! also, I am sure your parents pictures are not in your closet, bathrooms, basement etc...When you travel--hotel/motel etc...When there is a will, there is a way. Good luck.
