A few things to...: Just like when you are not pregnant: eat a healthy, balance diet with no added salt, con't aerobic exercise regularly 4-5x/wk, reduce daily stresses, sleep well, and don't smoke etc..These are so called modifiable risk factors--you can't change genetic. Look up the dash-diet regimen (google it). Congruatulations on your pregnancy. Consult your doc..Good luck.
