Many possibilities.: Many things can cause dysuria, which is a pain or burning sensation during voiding. A common cause is infection: infections such as gonnorrhea or chalmydia, or urinary tract infections caused by e. Coli and others. Other causes: chemical irritation from soaps, lotions, or spermicide; vigorous sex, masturbation, & ejaculation. Seek evaluation: urine testing can reveal the diagnosis.
