Many Things: Chin pain can be from your lower front teeth if they have long roots and they are infected. Any trauma to the area? There are muscle attachments that could be strained. Systemic (& bone) diseases could also affect the chin.

Various causes: Pain in the chin can be caused by a infection, either an abscessed lower front tooth or a bone or soft tissue infection. See your dentist or an oral surgeon for an x-ray to determine the cause.
