Depends on severity: Something simple like a corneal abrasion can feel a lot better in a day or so. Something like an open globe or orbital fracture can take months to years to heal and stabilize.

Eye injury: Eye injuries vary in there severity and length of recovery. If minor, recovery can be a few days as in a corneal abrasion. If severe, as in a laceration of the eyeball, recovery may never completely recover, particularly in regard of vision.
