From minimal to : This is variable- it can be literally done through a needle to a large incision depending on your size & location of the operative site as well as to what the actual surgery will entail. Is it just a disectomy or similar type procedure, a more extensive decompression or a fusion. How many levels are involved & does it involve instrumentation . Some surgeries involve different approaches.
