Can i go to work as usual with conjunctivitis of eye?

Maybe...: The common "pink eye" question! it all depends! if you have something as contagious as adenoviral conjunctivitis (aka epidemic adenoviral conjunctivitis) you most certainly shouldn't go to work and take precautions to prevent spread even at home. Many causes of acute conjunctivitis are not contagious and your ophthalmologist can make this determination and treat you appropriately.

Depends on the type: Infectious conjunctivitis is usually bacterial or viral. Both can be transmitted by touch. The viral form is highly contagious and virus can last for hours on inanimate objects like mugs and computers. If you have viral conjunctivitis it is best to avoid any work that could permit transmission of the virus to others. See an eye doctor before going to work.
