Methylphenidate: Ritalin (methylphenidate) side-effects include nervousness, insomnia, nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhea, heartburn, headache, muscle tightness, dry mouth, restlessness, tingling of hands/feet, decrease sexual desire, painful menstruation, chest pain, shortness of breath, heart beats faster, blurred vision, agitation, seizures, psychosis, mood changes, tics, rash.
