Pain: Pain that lasts only briefly, even if it is sharp, severe and/or throbbing is usually benign. If your pain becomes constant, or lasts more that 40 minutes, or is associated with fever, vomiting, sweats, shortness of breath, a bulge then you need to be concerned and get in for an evaluation. If you are missing any of your vaccinations, routine health maintenance then get them done.
