Antifungal.: Terbinafine is an antifungal medication used primarily to treat fungal infections of the toenail and fingernail. It can come as a cream or an oral tablet, once a day for 6 weeks for fingernail fungus and once a day for 12 weeks for toenail fungus. Brand names include Lamisil (terbinafine) or terbinex.
