Keep it clean!: Belly button pierces are in an often not-so-clean area of the body. Keep your navel jewelry clean (alcohol soak), keep your skin clean, and use Bacitracin on the pierce as it heals. Neosporin and mycitracin (triple antibiotic ointments) can cause an allergic reaction in as many as 10% of individuals that looks just like an infection, so avod these. Wash your hands before you touch the area!
