Scratched?: I'll bet that a chip scratched the inside of your throat. If it isn't better in a couple of days, seek medical attention. I suppose it's possible that a piece of the chip somehow became imbedded in your throat. The particular specialty dealing with such problems is called: otolaryngology or ear, nose and throat doctor.
