Vitamin B6 level: Deficiency in vitamin b6 or p5p (active b6) can lead to vivid dreams, nightmares and absence of remembering dreams. Excess supplementation can do the same, as can taking a supplement with vitamin b6 or p5p in it too close to bed. Other reasons are related to mood, current level of stress and past/current exposure to traumatic live experiences.
