Not possible: Whereas it would be great to be able to see a fetus develop week by week throughout pregnancy, it just isn't feasible. Insurance companies will not pay for the ultrasounds and doctor's offices are primarily focused on the diagnostic aspects of ultrasound. Anticipate a possible dating scan, 18-20 week anatomy/ level 2 scan, then depending on clinical picture a scan in the third trimester.
