I have spider veins, when i go to bed i raise my legs but they become numb is that normal?

No relation: I don't think you spider veins are the cause of your numbness. Numbness is more a neuropathic origin, nerve conduction studies may be helpful to diagnose the site. Also it's important to know if you have any back pains or injury or peripheral vascular disease . Sometimes physical therapy alone may be helpful. Need to see a doctor for evaluation.

Not normal: Numbness or pain with elevation could be due to nerve compression or arterial insufficiency. In either event, it should be evaluated.
