Allergies: Metallic tastes, along with other tastes, is feasible with allergies or sinus infection. Make sure you go to your doctor for evaluation to determine etiology.

Allergies/infection: Being one that has this experience perodically due to allergies, i know what you are going through. If you have not been diagnosed by a physician that you have allergies, it should be done. Seeing an allergist could help, but using something over the counter that is for sinus problems or allergies along with a drying agent (pseudonephrine being the most common) may be all that is necessary.
