A member asked:

I have bumps on my legs and arms that just won't go away. i was told that it meant i needed omega 3. is this true?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Good question: I've looked in pubmed to see if there have been any studies showing that omega 3 fatty acids improve keratosis pilaris, but have been unable to find any. However, omega 3 fatty acids are safe to take (be sure to get a good product that does not have heavy metals in it) and have many positive effects. I personally have found that my k.P. Has improved with supplementing with omega 3s. Worth a tr!
