Generally NO: Amblyopia therapy effectiveness rapidly diminishes after age 7-8 or so and is essentially ineffective after age 18-19.

No : It has to be fixed before the age of 8 in most cases. Some people get minor improvements in patients up to 12 years old. However, by adulthood, amblyopia is permanent.
