Back and/or knee: If the knee doesn't swell, get hot, red, click or lock (arrested during active extension or flexion) then look elsewhere for causation including pinched spinal nerves. Other nerve issues, including intrapelvic are also possible. If the pain is severe or you have trouble walking, even though painless, see your doctor.
