Call your physician.: If you have been exposed to TB you should call your physician immediately. If you do not have a physician, call your local health department, or the c.D.C. Remember TB can be treated, but act soon so you dont spread the disease.

See a doctor: With a significant exposure, the TB bacterium will make its way to the lung and replicate, spreading silently to the organs (not serious). After 6-8 weeks, the immune system develops a response to the organism producing a positive skin test or ira blood test. If your skin test turns positive, you should be given medication (usually inh) for 9 months. Fyi, only 10% of such people develop tb.
