Blow to the brain: A concussion causes pain from the impact injury to the brain when the brain strikes the skull from the inside. Sometimes it is not severe enough to cause too much dysfunction except the headache which can last for weeks or even a few months. Omega 3 pills are showing some benefits to people.

Several reasons: Pain at the site of a blow, a subgaleal hemmorrhage, bleeding under the muscle layer of under the scalp, migraine headache, due to the distortion of the brain and brain stem, post concussive headaches and occipital neuralgia, pinched nerve at the base of the neck from the rotation of the head backward at the time of the blow to the head.
