I'd really like to know how to heal a strained muscle?

Rest, Ice, NSAIDs: Strained muscles rarely require any type of surgery as they typically heal over a period of 2 weeks to 2 months depending on the severity. Treatment includes avoidance of aggravating activites until pain is gone. Ice/heat, gentle stretching, over the counter antiinflammatories, and ultimately a slow, gradual, controlled progression back to activities as symptoms improve.
