Avoid Some Foods!: There are foods to avoid to prevent food borne illness whether in africa or elsewhere. Avoid any raw fish/shellfish, & unpasturized cheezes such as brie or blue cheeze, unless it says pasturized & unless it's sufficiently chilled. Avoid more than 12 onces of fish per week especially fish at risk of being high in mercury (large fish such as swordfish) to protect baby's developing nervous system.
