A member asked:

What kinds of diabetes is there?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It changes: At present the classification of diabetes is relatively rigid: type 1, auto immunity to islet cells (the producers of insulin) type 2, Insulin resistance, you make Insulin but do not respond to it, most common and tied to obesity and pre-disposing genes. Other types: not well defined between 1 and 2.
