A member asked:

How often are tetanus shots needed?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on situation: To maintain protection over a lifetime booster shots every 10 years are recommended. If you work in & around gardens & other soil based terrain on a regular basis, or have a cut after 5 years in such a setting, a booster may be reasonable. This is based on one having had the basic tetanus series in the past.
