Yes, but.: Most cases of mild asthma can be treated by the use of inhalers. Your anesthesiologist will want to discuss your case and your normal management. I ensure that my patients have had a dose of their inhalers prior to anesthesia. Should the asthma return during the case there are medications we can use to treat this. Good luck.
