A member asked:

After how many days treatement are there no signs and symptoms of a bacterial infection?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bacterial infections: Are generally treated with oral antibiotics for 10-14 days . Depends on severity or nature of bacteria, some may require combination antibiotics orally or by injections. Some will clear in a few days and others, much, much longer especially those with complications - it takes weeks or months! early treatment , diagnosis & close follow up highly recommended.
