A member asked:

Can a person who is allergic to penicillin also have adverse reactions to to fruit mold?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes/unrelated: People that are allergic to penicillin can be allergic to "fruit mold" but they are completely different reactions and are unrelated. The "fruit mold" that you are mentioning is probably pennicilium - the mold that actually makes penicillin. However, allergic reactions to those are separate and unrelated.
