Get it checked: In a woman causes of left lower abdominal pain can include: ovarian cyst, ectopic pregnancy, diverticulitis, endometriosis, hernia, ovulation pain, crohn’s disease, abscess, ulcerative colitis, cancer, renal infection or stone or injury just to mention a few. If pain is chronic get it checked out –especially if associated with change in bowel habitus. Severe abdominal pain warrants er visit.
