Good: Women with cystic fibrosis are often not sterile. The chances of getting pregnant may be less than the average population, but many women with CF get pregnant. There are risks, however, associated with it, and those risks need to be considered prior to deciding to get pregnant.

Fair: Men with CF are generally infertile, but this is not true of women with cf. Women with CF may have many pregnancy related complications, as airway clearance becomes more difficult as the pregnancy advances and may lead to a permanent decline in lung function. Talk with your CF center about it.
