Antiinflammatory: Diclofenac is an excellent anti-inflammatory that is used for many purposes such as tendonitis, arthritis, post procedure or surgical pain. It has the same risks as common over the counter nsaids like Ibuprofen or aleve (naproxen). Rarely, it can cause stomach upset, GI bleeds, renal failure, exacerbate hypertension, and occasionally elevate liver function tests.
