What are some of the controversies regarding treating alzheimer's with stem cells?

Doesn't work yet: We are a long ways from using stem cells successfully for alzheimer's disease, and may, in fact, never quite get there, as the process is very complicated, and is truly a disease of aging in most cases. I think stem cells offer much potential, and maybe will be of benefit in parkinson's one day, but am skeptical about dementia otherwise.

Alzheimers: We dont fully understand the etiology of the disease, and we are lightyears away from using stem cells. Stay active, read everyday, have evening dinner discussions, and have your hormones balanced.
