Usually quickly: A home pregnancy test may become positive 10-14 days after conception. If you are 7-10 days late with your period and you do a home pregnancy test and it is positive, it is genuinely reliable.

Missed period: Using a standard home pregnancy test - as soon as you miss your period. You can get a slight jump on that with an early pregnancy test.
