Planned: Recovery takes 7-10 days & pain will interfere with sleep. Plan to take pain meds with a small amount of food & then go to sleep while they work (lasting 3-4 hrs). You may awaken naturally (pain return awakens you) or by setting an alarm & then take dose of pain meds, drink water as throat will likely be dry, & return to sleep. Use sleep hygiene measures to for better sleep.
