Analysis needed: If weakness is present first, this can result in shaking during attempted exertion. If shaking and weakness occur together, then conditions such as parkinson's disease, hyperthyroidism, excess stimulant use/abuse are possible causes. Essential tremor rarely begins at this age, and is not associated with weakness. See a neurologist.
