Dr. Jeff Blixt answered

Specializes in Addiction Medicine

Counseling: Find a counselor that specializes in addictions. See an addiction specialist, medications may be helpful with other support but not magic by themselves. Aa is not the only way to get sober, with that said it is an amazing program that has changed many peoples lives, and most of them did not want to go either in the beginning. Seek some type of healthy support from others. Be willing.

Options.: Dr blixt provided an excellent response. You can go to rehabilitation. You can see an addiction medicine specialist. Have you gone to alcoholics anonymous meetings in the past? If you haven't, encourage you to try it. If you have & didn't like it - maybe you weren't ready for the message or maybe it wasn't the right meeting for you. Sample different aa meetings in your area before you nix (permethrin) it.
