In a way.: There has never been a testicular transplant in the way a typical transplant is commonly understood: with a donor and a recipient. Patients who lack testes can simply have their testosterone replaced. There are case reports of men who had testicular tissue removed, underwent chemotherapy for leukemia that rendered them sterile, then had the testicular tissue replaced to go on to father children.
