Sounds grim: Oxygen saturation of less than 70% on 3.5 lpm o2 via nasal cannula for a chronic and apparently progressive disease is an indicator of very severe dysfunction. I would assume that she has very poor ability to exercise or even ambulate. Have you discussed end of life issues?
