Should i have a heavy period after failed ivf?

Often yes: It's common to have a heavy period after ivf due to the thickened uterine lining that occurs with fertility drug stimulation. I'm sorry to hear it didn't work for you; most of my patients conceive on their first ivf cycle...

Not necessary.: However, it is common to have more bleeding than normal period. During embryo transfer cycle, we use more medication (estrogen and progesterone) to build up your endometrial lining. So when withdraw hormone support, your period may be heavier. Is the embryo PGS tested?
