Fractured Teeth: A fractured tooth is a serious dental emergency. If the fracture is deep, it may be affecting the nerve of the tooth. As long as you have a normal healthy pregnancy, it should not affect you from being treated by a dentist to stop your pain. If you have a high risk pregnancy, have the dentist consult with your ob/gyn as to what precautions to follow. You need emergency dental attention!

Wait and call OB : Emergency rooms do nothing for dental pain. They tell you to go to a dentist, as i used to get such referrals a lot in my practice. You are in your second trimester and even though we prefer to not do much during pregnancy except cleaning, when a pregnant and in pain, it is ok to do treatment in the second trimester. Dentist won't use Epinephrine and take as limited number of x rays as possible.

Dentist: See your dentist. Your OB will take care of your baby, the er will take care of you if you are in a car wreck, and your dentist will take care of your tooth.

ER treats medical, not dental, emergencies. OBGyn delivers babies and does't treat fractured teeth. You need to see a Dentist immediately. The pain you are feeling is probably from infection, which is probably why tooth broke, not good for either you or your baby. Make appt w Dentist immediately. Then call your OBGyn and ask them to contact Dentist's office if there are any possible complications.
