Period last month was a day n half instead of 4, had 2wks -ve hpts since then. now my opks are getting lighter for past 5dys.what could b wrong?

Hormones: An ovulation kit only stays positive for a short time. It only stays positive during an lh surge, which only lasts about 2 days. Before and after that it should be negative. Now some women do not ovulate, or they ovulate but with a low hormone level, and other women have a naturally abnormally elevated lh level that interferes with the kits. A change in bleeding pattern can signal problems as well.

Blood test for HCG: If you have any doubt about being pregnant, get a blood test for HCG level.
