A member asked:

Can combination of lithium and venlafaxine cause petechial haemorrhage?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Perhaps: All serotonin reuptake inhibitors (including venlafaxine) have effects on platelet aggregation and can cause various minor (mostly) bleeding disorders, including petechial hemorrhage. Lithium has several case reports of a similar effect, but i would say that venlafaxine is more likely to be the cause.
