Not truly pregnant: To "ovulate" means the egg pops out of the ovary. Before you ovulate, you have no egg. Therefore, it is impossible to get pregnant before you ovulate. However, if a woman has sex a few days before she ovulates, some sperm may survive long enough (waiting for her to ovulate) to get her pregnant after she ovulates... That happens all the time. Counting "pregnancy weeks" confuses people even more.
