Sugar: Neat honey is flakes of honey... Sugar in the form of liquid honey or dry flakes of honey is still sugar and you can to rinse your mouth right after eating. And ideally brush your teeth a half hour afterwards. After your saliva has done the first part, brushing your teeth is your part.

No problem : With the proper oral hygiene, honey should be fine for you and your teeth (but not for an infant). It has high sugar content, so be sure to brush and floss, and of course, see your dentist regularly anyway.

Teeth + Sugar = Bad: Honey has no benefit to teeth. It does, however, contain plenty of sugar, which is one of the primary ingredients needed to cause cavities. Enjoy honey now and then, but brush your teeth afterwards.

Honey both sweet & sticky. Adheres to teeth, especially between teeth where a t'brush can't clean. Bacteria then convert sugars into acids which makes holes in dental examel. Make sure to brush 2x/day for 2 full minutes and also floss or WaterPik daily, without fail. And remember, all things in moderation.

Any time you eat foods that have a high sugar content and are thick and sticky, this is a problem for your teeth. The food particles will cling to your teeth and dissolve all around, causing tooth decay. Eliminate this type of product or make sure you find a way to brush, floss and clean off all residue on and around your teeth.
