Time to talk: All testing is ancillary to the history and physical exam, testing errors do get made, and true results may be different on different days. Your physician has a duty to explain what this seeming discrepancy means. We see this all the time, which is why "cookbook" or "one size fits all" medicine will never work. I wish you luck in finding the right diagnosis and treatment.

Discuss with doctor: Lab tests need to be interpreted in the context of total health, history, physical exam, other test results.
