Why platelets. are. decreased without any cause ?

No one knows why: Itp, idiopathic thrombocytopenia is caused by production of antibodies against platelets. "idiopathic" means we have no idea why or what the cause is. In other words we know nothing about why. Now we know that most itp is caused by antibodies to platelets and is autoimmune. It is no longer really idiopathic but still retains the name. Why do people get autoimmune disease, also not known.

How decreased?: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, it would have helped had you provided the actual value.
