Just (un)lucky: May not induce irritation of stomach lining; may not stimulate vomiting center. Can't use vomiting as a tip-off to too much alcohol ("i'll just drink until i barf"). Need to learn how to limit intake. Alcohol poisoning can kill you, can lead to very bad judgement, accidents, unwanted sexual activity, etc. Chronic excess can cause liver, pancreas, heart, neurologic problems.
