Myalgia: We tend to see a lot of young people with intermittent muscle spasms. Some call it a form of fibromyalgia. Often from poor diet or excessive exercise or use of drugs or medications that affect the muscles. Even during hormone phases there is a tendency for muscle cramps. Primary muscle disease needs to be ruled out. Good health habits and proper diet with good fluids and minerals is important.
